Interest Sections

All club members are invited to attend any or all section meetings. If you are not a regular section member but wish to attend a meeting, please notify the host or section chair. Members are encouraged to invite prospective members to interest sections.

We do beading projects as well as other interesting craft projects. Often members knit, crochet, or do needlepoint.
We meet at the home of the hostess, or other convenient places, to play bridge in the afternoon and enjoy each other's company.
Welcome to the world of Canasta!  It’s fun, it’s easy, and if you don’t already know how to play, we’ll teach you this exciting card game in no time at all.
The Dancing Damsels learn Caribbean dance movements, simple choreography and some dance improvisations.
We visit galleries and sights around the St. Louis area twice a year. We encourage all members and guests to attend.
We meet at the home of the hostess in the afternoon to discuss books which gives us an opportunity for intellectual stimulation. New books and new people. A break from everyday life. The freedom to be honest. Friendship. Self-expression. Lifetime connections.
We meet at the home of the hostess in the evening for book discussion. Many people find evening a convenient time to attend a book club and so do we! Please join us!
We play both American and Chinese Mah Jong. We meet for lunch before we play.
We meet at different restaurants to socialize with new and old friends and explore new areas together.
Meet other scrabble fans to talk strategy, play games and make new friends in a relaxed, friendly environment. Anyone new to Scrabble is very welcome.
We meet in a workshop setting to explore personal creative writing.

If you have an idea for starting a new interest section, contact our Immediate Past President, Jennifer Luner jjluner@charter.net. She will help you in this effort by putting a notice in the newsletter with the information about meeting times and goals of the new group. Interest Sections need not meet every month. We are always delighted to have new groups!
